Special Event Stand By

Virtual Life Flight provides medical stand by at many special events. Auto races, sporting events, and other special events  can be served.

You can log time to the event and back, and to the destination if you have a transport.

Rotary wing aircraft land at the event site and transport to the closest facility.

Fixed wing aircraft land at the closest airport where they meet a mobile ICU ground unit which goes to the event to stand by. If a long range transport is needed, you're there. Interesting note, most actual serious auto racing injuries are transported to Indianapolis after being stabilized at a nearby hospital.

There is no sign up for special events, just fly and file.

First digit is the base. 1=Cleveland  2=Birmingham/Gulf Coast  3=Seattle  4=Seattle
If you fly a chopper, to the event, add 50 to your flight number (ie 2352 for a rotary IRL stand by)
