This program uses FS's Scenery files (.bgl's) to create a database of airports and navigation aids for you flights. Since in only uses those airports that you have installed, you won't be able to create a flight, take off, fly an hour, only to find that you don't have scenery for your destination airport! FS5.X and FS95 users are able to scan the installed scenery files; FS98 users must download an already created database of nav-aids and airports for the program

FS98 Airport and NavAid database
392Kb. - pre-defined database for FS98 users. Since FS98 stores scenery information differently, Flight Planner at present is not able to scan and create the database from your software. Use this pre-defined datatbase to create flights and adventures for use with FS98.

US Intersections database
156 Kbytes. Giant United States intersection file with more then 12.000 intersections. Flightplanner intersections are virtual waypoints. Not a navigation station like a VOR or NDB, but just a position on our planet. When you want to use intersections, you also should use a GPS utility or adventure

Adventure Compiler
119Kb. This freeware APLC32 adventure compiler, created by Martin Smith allows you to create adventures for use with your flights. When used with flightplanner it generates FS adventures that can be used in FS6 without any conversion. To use the adventures with FS98, you must use the Aircraft Adventure conveter.
